do u need a memory card..

My friend has the usb chord for me..do I absolutely HAVE to buy a memory card to get music on the phone? and what else will I need?..i dont want to buy the essentials kit..

No you don't need a card,but the phone only holds about 5 songs by itself. You also need the drivers on your PC. The kit includes the USB cord and CD with the drivers.
