Ringtones and bitpim
I need to know how to use bitpim!
I read all the massages about it, but i still cant log in my a930!
i use bitpim 9.04, when i'm connect the USB cable that i got with my a930, i connect it to one of my usb ports in my computer.
always i got an error message :
IrCOMM2k " there is no infrared adapter installed or it is not working properly, IrCOMM2k does not replace the infrared adapter driver. first this driver must be installed
error code :10047"
what i have to dooooooooo?????
to detect my cell??????
i choose the A950 but it still don't recognized my A930
please HELP me! I want normal Ringtones in my phone!

It sounds like you did not install the USB drivers for the a930. You must first install the driver so that your phone can communicate with any program.
I am not sure if you can download the driver from Samsung, but it is on the Music Essentials CD.

The USB cable drivers are installed in my computer, my computer is able to recognise the A930, but its not the problem...
the problem is that the program bitpim can't recognize the phone, no metter what i did!
the other program PCLINK_770_2003 is able to communicate with the phone!
so what is the problem? please help me!

Try updating your bitpim. I believe the latest version is 9.07 and the 930 is listed as one of the phones. Hope this solves the problem.

Help!!! I am trying to do all this deal stuff to make my pc songs turn into ring tones. But I NEED to know if bitpim works and if it does work, will it fry my cell phone? I talked to someone at the Verizon store and he said to use bitpim but the software on these things are always updated and using that program might fry my cell phone. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!
