Trying to transfer music to phone from PC?!?!?
I am trying to transfer music files to my memory card via a card reader but it keeps telling me that the files are write protected and to remove it but i do not know how. Sorry if this is a stupid question...

i had this problem. i have the sandisk 1 gb. the larger sd card that the micro card goes into has a switch on it. it says lock on it and if the switch is on lock, everything on the card is write protected. just unswitch it and it should be cool. this worked for my sandisk. hope this was helpful.

I have the same problem that you and the original poster had.
Problem is, no matter which position I have the switch in, it still tells me it's write protected. I know it can't have anything to do with the fact that I formatted the card with my phone. I even try to format it with my computer to make it FAT32 and it still tells me it's write protected.
Do you know what could be wrong? I don't know what to do.
