contacts list back up/ picture transfer
i just got a USB hook up and was wondering how i can pull pictures and my contacts list off my phone onto my computer to back them up can anyone help??

Find the Samsung drivers....tough to find... Use BitPM .9.02. Phone will detect as "other Phone". Goto settings and select it as a a950 and you will get the basics....phonebook, calendar, pics, ringers, etc. Ringers must be in .pdm format as in the past but for MP3s in general- use WMP10 installed from the verizon site and you can sync phone through WMP and store music (need card though).

i have bitPM .9.02 but it wont recognoze the phone even when its set to tthe sch a950, do i need to get drivers for the samsung in order to use bitpm or the does bitPM cover everthing?

I had almost the same problem and finally took my phones back to the store and they did the transfer for me. Then as I was complainning to the tech, the tech told me about Verizons BackupAssistant from "Get It Now". After investigating it a bit further, I choose to subscribe at $1.99 a Month. I set my BackupAssistant to wakeup every nite and sync my backup.
I do hate not being able to manage my phone from my PC, so I'm now going to look at using/investigating bitPM to see if that helps.
The Tech did tell me that Verison had locked the BlueTooth access but that doesn't make sense since I'm using a Jabra BT500 Headset and it's working fine, plus my last phone was a Samsung a670 and the software was the office pack from SmithMicro. I setup m...
