Samsung A900 for Verizon CDMA Network

Since both Verizon and Sprint are both CDMA, is there any way to get this awesome Samsung phone to work on the Verizon Network?
If I try to activate this phones esn number on the Verizonwireless.com website, will it take?

I've owned for a week and already sold the Verizon Razr. Nice phone, but horrible software bugs and build quality.

Now I'm hoping that Verizon will pick up the Samsung A900 for its network or that someone on this site has a hack to get the Sprint version of the phone working.

Any help would be appreciated 🙂

I've seen Sprint phones be used on verizon's network (Treo 650 before Verizon released it, etc) but they can only do voice. You can make and receive calls, but no multimedia whatsoever. And most likely, no texts.

You'd have a great looking phone, though!

If they do get the phone.... they will screw it up with the VZW UI and probally disable OBEX as well.
Might as well face it. If you are on VZW and you ...

Reprint in the Herald Tribune from the New York Time

"In fact, Samsung has already come up with a Razr clone, nicknamed the Blade. (Its official name is the A900. It's offered only by Sprint, for $200, although a Verizon edition is reported to be in the works.)" 🙂

I don't see why Verizon would do that. It would compete directly with the Razr they already carry. I am sure Motorola is not going to like that at all.
