MP3 ringtones and JPEG backgrounds/avatars?
I did a search for "MP3" and found a lot of unanswered and unintelligible threads. Like everyone else, I want to take portions of my favorite songs and use them as ringtones. I also want to import my own images from my Windows XP PC and use them as wallpaper and also use them for images when individual people call me.
I transferred two images over the USB cable and they show up as red Xs when I try to set them as a wallpaper. They show correctly up in the image browser, though. I am able to set pictures I take with the camera as wallpaper, just not imported images. Do I need to import images under a certain file size or resolution?

go online on your phone and go to 3gupload and put your user name in.
download from there
you have 11mb on the phone for that.

You can also transfer the pictures from your computer via the USB cable to your phone in the DCIM folder. You can then view the images in the My Albums screen and set them as a screen saver.
