can this phone be unlocked so it can be used on the verizon network? they have nothing as nice as this in their phone selection. Thanks

In theory, yes. You would only need the MSL for the phone. However in practice it is probably not going to happen. Verizon will not activate it on their network as it is not a model they carry and the ESN is not in their data base. The other downside, if you did get it activated you would be able to use none of the features such as picture mail so it would basically be a voice only phone unless you did some SERIOUS tweaking. There are a few people that I know that have Sanyos activated with Verizon, but it was done back when they would let you add an ESN to the data base.

No, it won't work. Besides, you're better off just buying a RAZR if you're not willing to switch companies.
