Ah, good luck with that. Are you an SOP district yet? I've heard rumors that the SKU is going to be 170-2669, but it's not in the system yet, so it doesn't do much good. That's why I was telling you to check the Price Update Reports everyday. As soon as the SKU is official, it will show up on that report and be in the system. Anyway, good luck!

yeah we are an sop district so i would have the have the district manager grab it for me but i am having my doubt about the phone now i am bummed a lil bit about the mem slot but never the less ill still want to see it..

According to Sprint reps at our meeting, this phone is to be carried in all 5,000+ corporate stores.

Ok, the official SKU is 1702669. Enjoy. Also, the latest Hot Product Info sheet states that the phone will be in the DC in mid december, with the top volume stores receiving it immediately and all stores receiving it by the end of the month. Sweet!

First every Radioshack in the Nation is on the new SOP system. Second the Sku is 170-2669. Third the quote out of the Hot Product Info is "First shipment expected to arrive mid December, few stores will receive at first, all stores will receive at the end of the
month"
Forth just because it shows up on the Price Update List its kinda meaningless since it can show up but stil not be in stock to cell and not in the warehouse the sku would just be in the system. Mid december for us means like december 20th or even week after Christmas and getting DM approval is not hard just take an advance deposit for the price after its in the system and fax the ticket referenced to the 170-2669 to the store with the phone and boom your DM will approve it....

Its now in the POS system and some stores have them on order and others have Model Quanity which means they will have it. Its $349.99 $199.99 with contract

Anyone have any idea what the Dictation ability is on this phone? Lists it in the Txt message capabilities.

I used a a940 to test samsungs Voice Dication, and I was reasonably impressed. It won't handle most large words I tried, but it did basic words you'd use in Txting very well. The multi option for any word you said solved most conflicts (hit 8 if the wrong word popped up. Brings up a list of alternatives.)

As far as activating on an employee plan, it works. Did it over the phone. You could use sprint Fast too.

Not sure how power vision will work on employee plan, as well as sprint music store etc.

Won't find out for a few days though b/c a customer stole my phone when a co- worker was showing it to them. Still have to get a hold of another one in the district somewhere...

wow its been a while got the phone in today and bought it today so far i like it but it to early to tell i havent figured out the voice sms either but will let know when available
