It's a replacement for the 1100! They sell for $19.99 new at Walmart & elsewhere. I bought one on a lark to practice my unlock skills, got it unlocked, but Tracfone had some damn firmware on it that leaves it unable to be used if the airtime tank is up, even if it has a different SIM in it.

This phone is just an upgrade (if you could call it that) to the 1100. For $19.99 without a contract, what else would you expect?

Cool And Tracfone it is! That airtime tank thing is their way of sticking it to the unlock people. Would not be a bad phone for postpaid either. Probably works better than the Razor

no reason to diss the RAZR and be a MOTO hater.. the topics are not even related..

it doesnt make sense to compare a cheap piece of crap phone (even Moto makes some phones like that and manufacturers do that because there is a market for these devices, so I dont mean to say all Nokia phones are crap) to a RAZR phone..

reliability wise... yes, it makes sense.

A GREAT basic phone for people who want a SIMPLE & BASIC phone. Say for someone that has never had a cell phone & just needs something to make calls on. Personally I am GLAD to see a company come out with something like this. ESPECIALLY if it can be unlocked & used on any network. If that is the case, I will buy one to use as my "yard phone" and leave my Motorola v635 in the house when I work in the yard. I do this now with an old Siemens but it has a 4K color screen & is almost IMPOSSIBLE to read in the sun. The B&W screen is a GREAT idea! Maybe other manufacturers will start making at least one phone like this for their model range.

I'm sure plenty of people would buy this if it were cheap enough. Some people merely want to make calls on a cell phone.
Actually my first thought upon seeing this phone is that it would be perfect for my boss. If he had to give up his TDMA plan, he would want this or something like it.

Looks to be a very nice lil phone, has some nice features to it. Should be a good phone since it's a NOKIA!! can't wait until they comeout and try one.

NET10 is carrying this phone. The whining and moaning about the monochrome display is amusing. I bet this phone being Nokia and so simple, it works better than a high end phone. Then again people, what is a phone for in the 1st place????? TO MAKE AND RECEIVE CALLS!!!
