Ok, I'm really considering getting this device, and I just want peoples impressions on it. Really what I want to know, now that you have it, are you regretting your decision? Just so you know how i use my phone, I don't make a ton of calls, but text a ton, send a decent amount of pictures, I don't get on the internet a lot with my current phone, because mobile web is so limited, but I think I would use it more if I had full internet access. I play a fair number of games, would watch videos and play mp3's. Pretty much everything this device does, but just a little background on how well it does it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I've had this phone a week, like it a lot. Previously had Treo 650 which sucked big time. I posted in the User Reviews, easiest to check it out there. From what you described your priorities as, sounds like the best choice for you. The 3 biggest shortcomings I have with this phone are:

1. Doesn't come with Voice Command software included AND the multi function button on your BT HS does not activate the voice command software when it is installed.

2. Speaker phone is next to useless, not enough volume and poor quality sound.

3. Uses mini SD card instead of standard.

Hope this helps.

I had the 6600 prior to this model..passed on Treos, I730, and the upcoming Q phone from Motorola. I am very happy with this phone. Its not the most glamorous looking, but nothing beats the functionality. MP3s play fine..nice to go to the gym with it and reply to emails or txts while doing an elliptical all while listening to the music in the background. Yes, looks extremely dorky but no less dorky than meat heads admiring themselves in the mirror. Yes its bigger, but those keyboard buttons rule. I dare you to try typing your work emails on the Treo without a spell check. Speakerphone is suspect, but I don't need to use it that often. The bigger size allows you to hold that phone up to the ear without dropping it. The MO 815 and 8100s...
