what i am wanting to know is exact thoughts on what people who owned the 710 and now own the w600 think of the phones in comparison.

any opinions from users of both are greatly appreciated.

i know the phone is smaller and has no external memory now but has more memory than the highest memory card you can by for the 710.

i also hear the screen is smaller and lowered in color quality how do you guys feel about that and does it really affect the phone in comparison to the 710.

and would you say this is an upgrade or downgrade compared to the 710.

any other opinions are greatly appreciated

thanks

I would actually say this is in upgrade from the s710a, not a downgrade. The screen is smaller, but its still big. The color is REALLY nice. It is either equivilant to the s710a if not better. The external memory is a major bummer, but 256 mb is a lot. Plug it into the computer, and you can put what ever you want on it. Also, for people that don't like the orange it comes with a dark blue face plate as well, but the orange is actually really nice. Its not an ugly orange, its more of a metalic orange. Also the size is really neat and its very compact. The software is more updated on this phone to. You should go for it. Its really nifty. =)...

I have both and I must say i like the w600 better.

let me tell you now, the screen is beautiful, yes its smaller, but it is just as high quality compared the the s710a's big screen.

the phone is alot faster. my s710a was alsways slow, which became very annoying.

The camera is just as good as the s710a and actually has more camera features.

Memory is alot better. 256 compared to 128,..thats a given. PLus they only supply a 32 mb card with the s710a, so you have to buy a card ontop of an already expensive phone.

the w600 is wayyy lighter and smaller, the s710a was like having a rock in your pocket. Another thing is that the orange, as said in the last reply is a really nice color, I prefer it over the included dark ugly blu...

i did from lockline. after they told me they'd be sending me another 710. 😢 .

i cant say i have too many complaints but to me for some reason it seem as a downgrade to the se s710a. or you know what it seems as its the "her" version to the "his" 710.

same features, the camera on the w600 has more features but takes crappy indoor, low light, and night photo's. plus you cant zoom in on high resolution. the mp3 set up is sick though. and all the games and apps are demos. the sound is not better than a rokr my rokr viberated to bass (vibesync). its loud yes but not better sounding than the rokr. with or without headset. the 710 did get slow at the wrong time. but the w600 does it once in a while also.

i cant say i don't like it bec...

I have to agree with cellularman2006 on some aspects, the camera isn't great in low light and at night, but neither was the s710a. The headphones do feel like they will get stuck in your orbit I still think the sound quality is better than the rockr. the slowness of the s710a is like night and day compared to the w600 which is a ton faster. cellularman2006 also mentioned the w600 is more of a high schooler phone,..well thats fine for me, I'm in 9th grade. I agree with kdawg207 that the w600 is the best phone ive ever owned.
