Cradle-style charger?
I just ordered this phone through Verizon's website, based on the reviews here and elsewhere, and a few comparisons w/ other phones - AND the fact that I was eligible for my new every two upgrade and the price was under $90 for the whole shipment!!
What I really need is one of Motorola's desktop charging stations - the kind where you have to buy different inserts for the back part of the station if you want to charge an extra battery simultaneously.
So far, they don't list it as available on their website. My son's charging station for the E815 seems work with lots of the Moto phones, if you go by the SKU #. But if the v325 uses the mini-USB type jack, that wouldn't work. A Moto phone rep said the cradle charger isn't available as ye...

Just got the phone today and it uses the mini_USB charge port. Sorry, but haven't heard anything about a cradle charger. I am actually looking for the drivers for XP, software to SYNC and a cradle.

Thanks for the heads-up. I get the uneasy feeling that this charger-port issue will mean either (1) considerable delay getting hold of a cradle-style charger, or (2) no cradle charger will be forthcoming at all from Motorola.
I understand how people are glad to be rid of the old flimsy 2-prong style charger plugs the company is famous/infamous for. I just wish they would have provided a cradle charger where you can charge an extra battery and the phone at the same time... Without this feature, there's little point in even owning a backup battery, IMO.
