Reprogram the hollywood to work on verizon

Oct 5, 2006, 2:34 PM
Ok i had the E815 for the longest time has to be the best phone i have ever had. That said i lost mine and the insurance company replaced it with the LG VX 8300 (I hate it). Is there a way to reprogram the e816 to work on the verizon network. A motorola rep ( in a best buys (no he didn't work there he was just talking to the sales people)) told me they where the same phone with a different OS.

Why don't youbuy a new e815. Go to the Motorola website I believe you can get it for under $200...

Go to ebay, type in the search bar Motorola e815 Verizon. They have tons, wide price range, new and used.

If you are really serious about it, it can be done, but I believe it is a lot of work. Go to howardforums.com and go to the verizon forum, and then the motorola forum and look for the thread. good luck
