Can you delete the ringtones that come with the phone?
I don't see a delete option - I even tried to mark them and delete - but it still won't do it.

Help!

No, you are not able to delete the stock ringtones. Although I'm sure there is a seem hack that would allow these to be deleted. But without a long explaination, no.

If you dont like seeing them when you are going though your music, try installing a transflash card and use the "Switch Storage Device". It won't show those anymore.

The only way that I know of to rid yourself of them is the same way you rid yourself of the useless pics...though the file is still "there".

I'll explain, and you'll need data software and cable. First you have to create a file with the same name, 0 kb is size. Then copy it to the phone. This really only frees up memory. Thus far to my knowledge, no one has erased the actual files off of the phones.

This is how I've done it before on several GSM Motos, should work the same for the CDMA ones, seeing as how it's the same UI, unless you have Verizon, then I'm not sure about the UI.
