Prolems emailing ringtones

I have the Motorola v325 and my son has the Motorola e815. It seems totally random whether or not I can email ringtones to the v325 - doesn't seem to correspond to whether or not the file is a MIDI, mp3, or anything else, or even how long the clip is.

But: I haven't been able to email ANY sound files at all to the e815. Any suggestions?

Get the Motorola USB Cable off off eBay, get some software to edit the SEEMs and copy the files using a transflash card/OBEX.

Sounds really hopeful, but I have no idea what all the terms mean, except for the USB cable part. Can you give me a few more details? What software? And what are:

- "SEEMs" (and how do I know how to edit them?),
- a "transflash card", and
- "OBEX" ?

-- and where can I get them?
