Hi,

I've searched and could not find this answer. I am trying to add additonal phone numbers to my new E815 and could not find any instruction from the manual. Does anyone know how I can include all the other numbers on the same entry(cell, home, office, etc)

Just got rid of the LG VX4500 and got this new E815 with Verizon for $20.........

Also, I've used the bluetooth with a Tekkeon EZTalker ET2000, no echo or any problem.

Thanks so much,

Frankie

But this actually create a new entry. Is that the way it should be. See, in the LG phone you can just add # to the contact with out building new entries.

Thanks

It do4e and it doesn't. It's another entry but it's linked to the original one. You can go into your contact list setup and tell it to show only the primary number for each entry. To do this, go into your contact list, then on any entry press the menu button (middle button at the top of the keypad), scroll down ad select Setup, on there, set "View" to read Primary Contacts.

This will show one number for each entry. If you want to call a different number for that entry, you can scroll left and right using the # and * keys to change the icon and then hit send when you have the icon for the number you want. It's actually pretty slick once you have it set up.

When I sync with my PC using the Moto Phone Tools, it actually sets up a separate contact for each phone number. Frankly, kind of stupid way of doing it but that seems to be the Moto software.

doggie, i just tried with your suggestion and it created another entry, but it's the same name. So, for ex.. you will see David in 2 entries, one has icon home, and the other will have icon mobile, but it's 2 separate line in the contact field. Let me know if I'm doing something wrong. Thanks doggie...
