Hello;

Does anyne use the software available for E815 to sync your contacts and schedule from Outlook?

Any bugs in the software?

With the software installed, can the phone be sync'd via bluetooth?

I use it. It works, but I would suggest backing up the phone data before doing anything, in case your initial trials don't work as expected. You may need to play with the settings some, to get things configured right.

Yes, it will work using BT, if you have it on your computer. I picked up a $25 BT dongle for my PC, this also makes the BT portable and allows me to use my home AND work computers for backing up my phone.

What software are you referring to? I understood from Verizon that there is no software. My PC and my PDA can see my phone via Bluetooth but I can't seem to do anything with it. You make it sound relatively easy. So what software are you using?

You can use Motorola Phone Tools to sync Outlook in the PC with the phone. It will sync Contacts and the Scheduler.

Do a "Search" in this forum and you will find info on where to get the software cheaply and how to properly install it along with the USB driver you will need.

If installed properly as per the instruction given in this forum, it works well with no bugs.
