all the reviews I have read point toward the e815. I bought one last week and it seems to be a good phone. only bad think is that Verizon locks out some of the BT features in an attempt to get you to pay to transfer music/picture files. 😡 there are hacks on here to fix that if you want 😁 all in all, Motorolla is a better company than LG.

I traded in 3 LG 8000's and 1 LG 8100 because they all have had issues from poor internet connectivity to volume issues. The 8100 I had had static on the bluetooth connection, poor voice command recognition (I literally had to yell it before it knew what I wanted) and at times I couldn't hear the other caller. I got the 815 and am much happier with it-- it sounds great, picks up in areas where the LG had problems and the bluetooth works really well with the MOTOROLA headsets (LG doesn't build their own headsets). It also doesn't have the Verizon user interface that everybody else has. My screen shows whatever wall paper I have to the top and bottom of the screen wi...

go with your gut, it is not like you will be stuck with it forever. 🙄 however, built in "stereo" speakers don't mean much. lol, they are only 2 inches apart 😁 and as for memory, you would have upgrade anyway if you want to carry more than a few songs with you.

Not here to fight for LG but all those reviews that were mentioned above were BEFORE the LG VX-8100 got the software update. Check any review from say...8/22 to the present. I dont know much about the 815, just what I have read online at CNET, MobileBurn, Howards, here, and Mobiledia. But U do know that the 815 has several issues of its own. I can also tell you that I HAVE NEVER had a volume issue with my 8100. I would suggest picking up each phone for 7 days each. After the 14th day decide which you liked better. VZW gives you 15 days to decide one way or another. Good luck.
