Since no phone is perfect, the pluses of the E815 far outweigh the weak vibrate in my opinion.
"...to the VX8100, but the dual triband/tri-mode (CDMA 800/1900; AMPS)"
According to verizon's site, the 8100 doesn't have analog (AMPS), which also means it's not trimode...
*sigh*

These reviews aren't entirely accurate either....from the vx8100 review:

I emailed CNET.com in regards to this error. Here is the response.
Greetings -
Thank you for writing and for bringing this to my attention. You're correct, the LG VX8100 does not have analog roaming. I apologize for the error. A correction will appear shortly.

On to the e815 review, can you really transfer pictures from the phone to your pc via the TransFlash card like the review says?
The review says "The handset also comes with a pair of games--S.W.A.T. and Swerve Basketball" - has anyone actually seen these? I have the e815, and I can't find them...
Finally, they said that the EVDO reception (*not* the phone's signal reception) was kind of iffy.
(this post might not be entirely coherent, as I wrote it as I went)
