I've read these reviews and I dont understand something: Why do these reviews not address two VERY important flaws with these phones? The biggest problem with the E815 is the weak vibrate, and the 8100 has bad speakerphone issues (for the person on the other end). Did they not try these features? Or did their phones mysteriously work? I usually have faith in CNET that they mention important stuff like this in their articles (though I dont really trust their rating system), but it's absent here.

I was also very bothered by my 815's weak vibrate, but then realized that has more to do with the battery than the phone.

Since no phone is perfect, the pluses of the E815 far outweigh the weak vibrate in my opinion.

These reviews aren't entirely accurate either....from the vx8100 review:
"...to the VX8100, but the dual triband/tri-mode (CDMA 800/1900; AMPS)"

According to verizon's site, the 8100 doesn't have analog (AMPS), which also means it's not trimode...

*sigh*

I emailed CNET.com in regards to this error. Here is the response.

Greetings -
Thank you for writing and for bringing this to my attention. You're correct, the LG VX8100 does not have analog roaming. I apologize for the error. A correction will appear shortly.

...And notice that they didn't even mention reception whatsoever in their review of the 8100?

On to the e815 review, can you really transfer pictures from the phone to your pc via the TransFlash card like the review says?

The review says "The handset also comes with a pair of games--S.W.A.T. and Swerve Basketball" - has anyone actually seen these? I have the e815, and I can't find them...

Finally, they said that the EVDO reception (*not* the phone's signal reception) was kind of iffy.

(this post might not be entirely coherent, as I wrote it as I went)
