Listening To VoiceMail???

OK.. I hate to sound like an idiot, but I can't seem to retrieve my messages. I set up the voice mail just fine. But, now that I have some messages, I can't listen to them.

If I follow the manual instructions, I just dial into my voice mail as if I need to leave a message. How do I listen to the messages?

If you are a new verizon customer you should of gotten a welcome packet and it will have a voicemail shortcut pamphlet to help you out setting up the voicemails and all the shortcuts as well.

Or just dial *86 from your cell phone.

There is an even easier way to get your voice mail. Although the phone is programed to dial your voice mail as speed dial #1, it is even more convenient to program speed Dial #1 with *86, then a pause, then your password followed by #.

That way you only have to hit one key and all the rest is done automatically for you! You also don't have to use the add password feature of the phone either.

If you have had Verizon transfer your phone book from another phone, the programed voice mail #1 may have been over-written with another entry. Just reassign that entry to another speed dial and enter you voice mail as above.

Works Great!
