I could be wrong, but I remembered reading something in the NYTimes.
Yet I am reading posts here tonight of many of you saying the BT is crippled on the 815.

If that's the case you've got some big balls Verizon.
And if it's not, I apologize

Auctually If i remember right, VZW is being sued bacuse they showed on their commercials that the v710 had bluetooth in it and did not say any thing about it being only headset enabled. When people hear bluetooth in a phone they usually thing that it has obex, DUN etc... but the v710 only offered bluetooth to be used with the bluetooth headsets ONLY. making customers use Greedy VZW's "Services" (VZpix) so if this phone had the uncrippled bluetooth in it you can use the bluetooth signal to send pictures, songs etc.... FREE OF CHARGE!!! but thanks to VZW and being greedy they crippled it!!! DAMN VZW 🤭

I don't understand...how could they sue....u can't sue someone with no case. It isn't like Verizon is FORCING you to take a phone. You have the option of doing whatever you like. Lukily we have hacks around this....

dogg its called breach of contract and false advertisment. customers are 110% right if they want to sue. Its not the case with the e815 as VZW learned its lesson.

No I understand that. I actually wrote my message and you ended up posting and I posted right after. I see why they attacked that. Now Verizon puts it in small print to cover themselves.

1. Wireless headsets
2. Hands-free accessories.

It does not support object exchange (OBEX) or dial-up networking (DUN) profiles. 😢
