The REAL Retail Price of the E815!

I went to the Circuit City store today to buy my E815 and they were completing the sale and low and behold the retail price rang up as $389.99 not $299.99. Which in turn i guess makes sense since all their other V-Cast phones are about $389.99 but you still get a $50.00 mail in rebate. Just thought i would pass that along. So if you can get a phone for $299.99 at full retail i suggest you jump on it ASAP!

I'm struggling with the same question. I don't forsee myself using V-Cast. Nevertheless, I would consider purchasing the E815 if it has sufficient quality improvements over the V710. All of the problems I've read about concerning the V710 lead me to question whether it's worth purchasing, although I surely prefer having a trimode phone to an all digital phone, all else being equal.

From my understanding if you don't live in a V-Cast area you don't pay anything for the V-Cast service i live in a non V-Cast area we wont have V-Cast in the area of Michigan i am in until the end of this year so i am not being charged for V-Cast and by that time the CDMA Razr should be out so that will be the phone i am going to stay with so V-Cast isn't a factor for me. I was able to test this phone out yesterday is a real nice phone it don't even require a extended battery which is even nicer because of how long the standard battery life is. Tri-Mode phones wont be in existence too much longer analog is slowly going away digital phones are better than analog i was big on analog until i received my first digital phone which was the Motor...

I just called the Circuit City in Santa Ana, CA and they told me the price was $150 (before a $50 mail in rebate). I am assuming this was with a contract. But the point remains, it is NOT over $300.

Thats why said catch the phone while you can. Because i looked at the pricing for the E815 on the Verizons Pricing Website with the Manager and it is $389.99 if you look at their other V-Cast phones you will see they cost the same price. There is 1 i think its the Audiovox that costs $419.99. They told me if the price changes they will adjust it but thats what it shows in their system.

I just called a Verizon store that will be releasing the phone on July 5th they confirmed the price will be $389.99 FULL RETAIL. I am trying to see right now if this $299.99 is just a promotional price offered for today only for just Circuit City stores i will keep you informed. I know the $149.99 is with a 2 year agreement its stated in the Circuit City ad.
