I have the e815

I thought I would share my thoughts on the e815. I was lucky enough to find a Verizon Rep at a Circuit City store in Lewisville, Tx that sold me one. I only took it because he reassured me he would not be in trouble.

First, I had the VX8000 and traded it in for the e815 (first 14 days). The LG is a good phone, but the call quality and reception were not up to par. Also, I don't mind large phones, but that thing's a brick.

Second, the keyboard is WAY better on the 815 compared to the 710. The numerical keys are all about the same size and are large enough for my fat fingers. The directional pad could be larger, but it's not really a problem.

Third, the reception is the best I have had. I was in the car for almost two hours wit...

Must echo the other replys. Wonderful post and I hope to purchase mine asap.I was getting tired of waiting for the 8100 anyway!!!!!!!

Thanks also from this end.My order was just placed today and waiting for the FedEx truck to deliver now.

I thought sure this phone wouldn't be out till later in the summer but now this is a great suprise and one many have been long waiting for.

The specs say it holds 1000 phone numbers... does it have the capability to store more than 1 phone number per entry?

Yes it does. You have to set the contacts to display by primary. Then when entering a contact, when you do one number, scroll to the bottom of the list to a link that says "***MORE***". This will let you add another number under one entry. When you come to a name in your list you can use the left-right arrows to select another number.
