I am surprised they are releasing rebate forms on brand new phones. How much of a rebate are they giving away? And is it for only people that buy the phone with a contract or is it for people who buy the phone at retail as well?

From what I understand, the rebate is only $50. I have heard many people said you can't get the rebate unless you sign up with a plan, but I have purchased many phones at retail and have not had any problem getting rebate but once. I called VZW CS and they told me I was not supposed to get the rebate on retail phones, but since I was told by the sales rep that I can, they went ahead and credit me the $50.

I know when i bought th V710 at retail they gave me the $50.00 rebate with no hassle so hopefully the will do the same with the E815 whenever it arrives. I'm in no rush for it i hope no one else reads that they might flip out i understand some people are in a position that they need the phone and need to switch from a different carrier and want that phone but others just want the phone. Verizon is just having a field day with their customers...AGAIN!
