Motorola E815

When comparing the Motorola E815 with the V710 in PhoneScoop it shows that the E815 is NOT a tri-mode phone but that the V710 is. Does anyone know if this information is correct? 😕

That is because the V710 supports analog (AMPS) and the E815 does not.

the E815 is a EVDO phone, no evdo phone is going to have analog.

The LG VX8100 is going to have EVDO and AMPS.

Besides I haven't seen and analog indicator pop up on my past 3 cell phones over the last 5 years who needs analog. I guess if you live in oshkosh than you may need A

Get analog only every day, I dont think its related to the size of city. I just dont live in Oshkosh. I dont think its Manhatten is just not that important any more... Perhaps Analog just works better in the subways and other "remote" places?
