My only complaint is 2nd display 👿 . Gee Whiz, it could've, at least, had 65,000 colors. What's wrong with that?!

How many colors do your really need to display the time and show who is calling? 😕

Seems adequate for what it is used for! 😁

Well, when using Picture ID feature, I would like to see a better picture of who is calling with, at least, 65,000 colors than with only 4,096 colors. I think, that's unacceptable, esp. with the help of nowadays' technology. What kind of upgrade is this phone then? 😈

Thanks for your reply.

Only 4096 colors, that is a lot more than in any crayon box I have seen! 😁

Which color is missing that you particually like? 🤣

Maybe he is rolling the eyes because the 815 and the 8000 are two very drastically different phones. 🙄

The 8000 is enormous compared to the size of the 815. The 815 is also all about Bluetooth and the transflash card. Although the 8000 may be a good phone, it has neither. The Audiovox 8940 would be more in line with the 815.

The 8000 and the 815 are for two different types of individuals. 😎

The 815 is also all about the EV-DO. If it wasn't for EV-DO, there would be no reason for the 815 to come out because the 710 already has the bluetooth and transflash. And if you read the specs, the size of the 8000 is only fractions of an inch larger than either the 710 or the 815.

May be, but if you actually look at the outside screen of both phones, you really can't "see" any difference in quality!. 😉

So what's the point? 😕

Just a comment in regards to the size statement. The 8000 is slightly larger but the e815 is significantly heavier. Just depends on what matters to ya thats all. 🙂 But the 8000 is not that huge, it is the shape that makes it seem that way, it is a bad shape not having any curves.

And you can't even see who is calling...the picture you have to have a 4 inch thick glasses to see who it is...maybe that is what he is saying about it...the picture could atleast cover the whole screen and then have who is calling written right over it...Also there is a need to be able to change the front display beacuase it is really annoying seeing the same one over and over again...

Yeah it does but you can adapt to it. Is motorola's past history of 'reading cell phones in the daylight' repeating itself? I guess so. But it's not like you have another choice. Either get the LG VX8000 with a bright and awesome external display, get another ev-do handset. Or like me, wait for the Moto E815 and in the meantime, play around with your LgVx8000.
