Email Problem

Just "upgraded" from a V710 + a Blackberry 7750 to the Treo 650. (Tired of carrying two unites b/c the BB phoen was terrible).

Getting used to the Treo, actually like it very much. I am using an exchange server and am using the Treo Wireless Sync for email.

Here is my problem:
I have an "inbox" and multiple "subfolders" including my spam filter. The WS software is pushing all my subfolders to the Treo anytime mail is put into them. Normally this would be great except one of them is a spam filter and i prefer my spam not to get pushed. ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS?? SHOULD I USE VERSAMAIL INSTEAD? THIS IS PRETTY FRUSTRATING B/C VERIZON HAS NO ANSWER.

I switched from WS to Versamail and like it a lot better. You can set up multiple email addresses, and it has filters as well. I think it's much more user friendly. The newest version of Versamail is available on the set-up disc you received with your phone.

😲 Dont switch to VersaMail. It caused everyone that I ever spoke to problems. Anyway.... The answer is to move the SPAM folder out from under your inbox. Make it a top level folder. The WS software only syncs the 650 with the Inbox, Drafts, Outbox, Sent and Deleted folder. Basically, all the Exchange/Outlook special default folders. All other folders are left alone.

anyone have any trouble with Gmail accts on the Treo 650 using POP3? It requires SSL and the Wireless sync doesn't support it. Wireless data tech support said to use versamail, but it still doesn't want to sync. Any ideas?
