Just placed my order
My salesman hooked me up got it for $141 - be here Friday - he is on th eroad and put it for 2 day - I wanted next day but he can not get to a CPU right now.

Confirmation one way or the other of EV-DO?
As indicated on Treonauts.com there was still some hope based on the service offered by Earthlink that uses Verizon infrastructure.

So I just wanted to know if you asked that before placing your order. I was left a voice mail by my Verizon contact, saying it was available, but am not waiting for a call back to confirm EV-DO. As much as I have anticipated the day, if there is not ev-do, I am going to keep waiting and maybe go with the Sammy i730.

The voicemail was stating that the phone was available. I called and left a message asking him if it's EV-DO or not. Waiting on call back.
