Instabilities?

jstang

I have been hearing more and more about phones instabilities and users needing to reboot or pull the battery every day or two. Also, that the PDA portion is slow and the email program still has issues. This is from experienced users that are using it on Sprint or Cingular and are familiar with how to update the phone and get the latest fixes.

Has anyone heard anymore or have any input or ideas. Up until 30 days ago, I was also watching this forum daily, but now I am getting nervous and wondering if the Blackberry color with Bluetooth is the better option.

Signed,
Bummed!

I too know many very "capable" people who have the 650 and complain constantly about the phone automatically re-booting without any input whatsoever. Obviously, they've all been Cing or Sprint. I'm hoping that VZW won't have the same issues. I've waited so long for this phone, and I've even considered jumping carriers.

Here's hoping.

the blackberry 7250 verizon was also late to market with

verizon does a whole lot more testing than its competitors
i can def see why customers get upset...heck as a rep i got alittle annoyed
but after hearing all the problems from customers with the sprint 650 were having...all software related...i'm sure the verizon one will have quirks...but not nearly as many due to the added testing
sprint has been informing its customers to go to palms site and uplaod new firmware for the 650
we'll see...i hope it does well...i'd like to get it down the road when the hype is gone...as well as a reduced price...like what happend with the treo 600
