Here are some photos I took last night and today. You really have to keep that lens smudge free or you will not get good results!

Comments are welcome, smart asses will be ignored.

Photo quality is hands down better than those from an underwater digital camera I bought not too long ago (640x480) and on par if not better than a just-for-fun all-in-one DV cam I own that says it interpolates a 2mp image up to 4mp. ...my eye it does.

Thanks for the compliments. 😁
If tomorrow is as sunny as today was I will be taking more and keeping my eye out for lens smudges!

None of the images were retouched BTW.

Wow! Glad I am getting my phone tomorrow. My husband does not know I purchased this yet. I will have to show him the link to say that the money is worth it!

I can hardly wait to start taking pics of the kids!

I really like those pics. I am truly contemplating getting this phone. I have to find out if I am still eligible for the rebate though. Sprint is playing with my status.

I'm trying my hand at some of the "Fun Tool" effects. The biggest downside to using them is you can't have an image larger than Med Quality (640x480) but the upside it the images still look great! 😁

Hope you like the additions. 🙂

Here are a few tips to get more out of your 5600 experience

*The 1000 file limit*

The phone's Operating System allows it to view NO MORE THAN 1000 files in a given folder on the miniSD. If you purchased a larger miniSD card, and I recommend you do, you have a couple of ways to get around the limit.

You can upload the images to Sprint Pictures website or
You can connect your phone to your computer and upload the pictures
then delete the ones you don't need.

or you can do this:

The phone conforms to the DCIM naming convention so you can

1. Connect the phone to your computer
2. open the DCIM folder
3. create a new folder
4. name the folder according to DCIM
(100SANYO, 101SANYO, 102SANYO etc)

The highest numbered folde...
