No meeting mode?
am I just over looking the option for it, or did they decide not to include it on this phone?

i know what you mean i remeber see in the specs that there was gonna be a meeting mode but i dont see it either!!!

There is an option called "Answer on Hold" which is I believe the same thing as Meeting Mode. When u choose that option it tells the caller "Please wait. Your call will be answered in a minute."

It's not in the settings. You have to set the phone so that it doens't answer an incoming call when you open it. Now whenever you get an incoming call you open the flip, press the options button and click on "Answer on Hold" Issue is that you can't set it in advance like the 7400. Maybe in a firmware update.

How do you set it? On the 7400 you hold down the back key, is there a shortcut like that for the 5600 or do you have to go through a menu option?

Ok you hvae to set your phone so that when you open the flip during an incoming call it doesn't answer. Now when you open the flip hit the options button and then press "Answer on Hold". The only issue is that you can't set it before hand like on the 7400 but maybe that will be fixed with a firmware update.
