If you call them right now, you will be able to get a hold of them and order the phone. I would advise you to order one, while you can. Tele-sales is who you have to talk too

Hey, y'all. I got one of the 5600's in my hands. This phone is soooo tight!!!! The screen is gorgeous. It's not as heavy as I thought it would be; kinda long, though. The camcorder fetures and media player are excellent. Anyone got any questions? I can answer some now. I'll be online for a while.

I do have a few questions...
1) how is the call quality? (better than 8200 or 7400??)

2) is the sprint pcs vision as fast as the 7400?

Call quality is extremely good, even on speaker phone. My opinion is call quality between the 7400 and the 5600 are close, but I think the 5600's speaker is better, but that is subjective-depends on the signal strength in the area you're in and type of building you're in.
Vision is just as fast as the 7400, actually a little bit faster. The media player on this 5600 loaded faster and is clearer. Still a little choppiness (as most multimedia will be for a while), but not a disappointment in the least bit. I love this phone!!

Have you taken any pictures with the camera and sent them to email for viewing? If so, how do they look?

How is the build of the phone?

When you view the menu, is it icons? are they colorful and clear looking? (i know the 7400 had the boring yellow colored icons)

Under what setting is the MP3 player located?

Thanx for all your input!!

Can we use the mp3s in the minisd card as ringtones?

How does this phone compare to the Toshiba 4050?

When you take a picture in the night time how does the pic look? Better or worse than the 7400.

What are the colors for the multicolor LED?

How loud are the ringtones? Is it louder than the Sanyo 7400?

Are you trying to quiz me????
😁
Not sure about the MP3'S, I'm not very interested in that. I'm sure you can, though.
There are different cards that have different space, so you'll have to find that out.

The pics at night aren't very good. I took one a second ago with flash on, and I couldn't even see the pic. The 7400 I used had a little more clarity, not that impressive though.

The phone lets you set 6 different colors for led, blue, green, light blue, orange, yellow, purple and regular white light. It can be set on one color, or a rainbow setting.

New ringer files are being tested for the phone, and the one on this phone is the bomb- very loud and clear. The regular voice ringers sound the same as the 7400. They don't sou...

E-mail pic quality is good. Very clear. It shows all the imperfections in a person's face. (I just stopped crying..) 🙂
The phone's build is sturdy, and is actually lighter than it looks. The frontal outer shell of the phone is very smooth, but not that plastic that would scratch up easily and void the warranty easily. The back of the phone is grey and shiny. (This plastic looks like it may be more scratch prone.)The hinges are a lot more sturdy than other phones that had hinge issues I think you'd really have to drop/bang it hard to scratch up real bad.
The screen has clear, colorful icons, and they are slightly animated (they move when you highlight them.)
I am unable to locate the MP3 player. I was told that it is under the media pl...

Does the camera have 'auto flash'?

Can you view anything else on the external screen besides wallpaper/battery/signal/etc.?

Any color LEDs? (like the 5500)

Keys have a blue backlight?

There is an auto flash setting, in camera under flash.
You can view pics in the phone on sub LCD.
Color led has 6 colors and the white light. Can be placed on rainbow setting.
Keys do have a blue backlight.

I apologize if you've already posted this in another thread, but I didn't see it and I'm curious. 😁
How did you manage to get the phone today? Judging by the other posts here, it just became available through Telesales today, and it'd still have to ship... What am I missing? 🙂

That's funny. 🤣 By the way, pics of the a800 are on Cnet.com. Do a google search to get there. Those pics are more in detail. I'll send pics of the 5600 in a minute.
