Mp3 Ringtones?

I know this phone has an Mp3 player in windows media player. My question is, does the phone itself do Mp3 ringers, or can Windows Media be set up to ring? Sorry if this is a dumb question, just curious.

Any audio files, including mp3s, in the Storage/Application Data/Sounds folder can be set as a ringtone.

What about if you want to have an MP3 as a alert for a text message?
