Service with T-mobile possible?
I just purchased this phone from a local T-mobile rep that offers unlocked GSM phones.
The actual phone I Have is by i-mate:

Upon activating it with my T-mobile service, I was told Tmobile does not support any Smart Phones and that data service will not work at all.
Does anyone this phone with TM? If so, what did you tell the rep to get the data portion set-up properly?

I just got this phone unlocked off of Ebay and have it working with T-Mobile. Its not easy but if you search around you can find the settings to get data services to work. I have internet, gmail set up and so far so good.

I finally figured it.
I have an i-mate SP3 phone. On the i-mate support page, they have a file to be executed on the phone. All settings were configured automatically despite T-mobile telling me it could not be done 🙂
