Great PDA, Bad Phone

Here's my 2 cents. I had (and now still have) the V710. Regardless of the crippled Bluetooth, it works great as a phone. I got the 6600 and I absolutely love the Broadband access. I am on the road all day and it is great. However, the phone portion of this device is just not anything great. I don't want to have to play around to try to get my BT headset to work. With the V710, you turn it on and it works. Not so with the 6600. Also, it really is a brick to carry around as a phone and probably won't take a good deal of abuse. I installed MS Voice Command for voice recognition and it was fair at best. Definitely not like the V710 voice recognition. V710 blows it out of the water there.

Also, you can't be online and on the phone simultaneo...

Your issue with placing calls is most likely due to there being "Data" traffice on the line when trying to make a call. Likewise anyone trying to call you will go directly to voice mail whenever there is data being transferred.

😈 I agree! the phone is awful, the Bluetooth is lousy and I returned it and went back to the V710!

There's a patch for the bluetooth. I don't think you people know what your talking about.
Although it could be that I'me sprint and you guys are Verizon 🤣
