Bluetooth Problems?

I have had this phone since it first came out. Unfortunately I did not try the Bluetooth until about a week ago. I have a Motorola headset that works fine (volume a little low) but disconnects after my phone goes in sleep mode. I have to turn the bluetooth radio off and then on to connect again. My phone also locks up (once in a while) when the bluetooth radio is on and I have to hit the reset button in order to get it working again. Is anyone else having this problem? I am wondering if I got a lemon? Verizon said they have had no complaints about it, but then again I am questioning Verizon's ability to create an actual database of complaints. Is there anyone else out there with these complaints?

I'm in the same boat - I have the Motorola 820 headset and it's really cool UNTIL it goes to sleep - at that point it's a disaster. I can't sem to make or recieve calls when the headset is involved, it hangs up the call as soon as the headset tries to go active and the whole cell phone thing becomes REALLY frustrating.

I've installed the BT upgrade as per the instructions in another thread (3500 build), and the earpiece does seem to register more frequently now, but the call issues remain regardless. I think that of 20+ calls that I have recieved, I'm probably 2 successes and 18 failures to date when I attempt to use the bluetooth headset...

Can anyone suggest remedies? I hope that it's me being a BT n00b here but I suspect from th...

Same trouble here! Verizon is about to get nailed with this one. My hope is that the problem is software related, and can be remedied with a patch. I have both the Jabra BT 200 and BT 250, and both have the same trouble as you described. I have toyed with the settings inside of the BT manager with no luck. I am calling Verizon right now to get on their DB of unhappy campers! 👿

Can you be more specific about this software download? I could not find it on their webisite. Is it for the PDA2K-EVDO?

Yes, I contacted Verizon Wireless. Bluetooth will not work on the Adiovox XV 6600 when it goes into "sleep" mode. They say that they are working on it. In the meantime, their solution: keep the PDA on all the time. I think that will drain the battery fairly quickly, but am checking it out. Will update when I have more info.
