I have a mobile office kit from verizon wireless. I love it, and used it with my 720. Then I got the 265, now I can't get it to recognize the phone. seems that I don't have the correct drivers. I'm not about to pay another $40 for something that I don't really need.
does anyone know where I can download/get the drivers?

I had the same problem, only I was starting from scratch. Verizon sold me the kit saying that it would work with the 265, and after much frustration, they finally escalated my call to someone who told me that they did not yet have the driver for the 265. The cord worked fine, but I couldn't find the correct driver anywhere. I wound up returning the whole kit, cord and all, and going to ebay. I bought Motorola's latest cord and software (v3), as described on the Motorola site. Not sure if you'll find just the newest driver software, but I think you can find the disk for v2. As I understand it, you can then download the latest software (v3), which will include your driver. Search for exactly the item number you need. I bet you'll find ...
