V710 vs. v265 Winner: V265. Now next is Audiovox 9900

Ive looked at the reviews and there is some very positive reviews on the audiovox 9900. And since toshiba makes audiovox. IMO toshiba ranks 5th behind the top manufactures.
1. sony
2. panasonic
3. phillips
4. samsung
5. toshiba

Can it really be better then the v265?
Now size, design, and sound clarity is the top catagoires in comparing phones, since lately al cellies are closly equal as far as functions ae concerned.

😳 DUDE!!! What are you smokin?!?! LG is the WORST!! HORRIBLE phones, HORRIBLE quality, WORST signal, nothing but DROPPED CALLS. I'd take a two-way radio over an LG phone any day of the week.

I would go with the V265 if I were you. More of a quality option. And it looks a lot more sleak as well! 😉

i'm not a fan of audiovox too much...but truth be told their phones from the toshiba end...like the 9900 from japan fare alot better then their korean built 8600/8900/8910 in quality or just first impression
and moto has not been the benchmark of quality of the past few years...esp on the vzw end...dunno about other carriers...but a let down to say for sure

My boyfriend purchased the 9900 about a month ago and is still tickled with his purchase. He never has dropped calls, and has very few complaints with the phone....

Mmm... nope. I've played with a v265 at Radio Shack... it didn't appear to be any more solidly built than your typical Japanese or Korean phone. Motoheads will be shocked, but its true.

Sleeker? I'll give you that. The 9900 is a bit of a brick.

the 9900 seems to have a better screen, but it seems flimsy to me, not put together well... makes plastic creeking noises, and the buttons dont seem designed well

Um... you do realize that when the guy you replied to was talking about the 9900, he was talking about an AUDIOVOX/TOSHIBA phone, NOT an LG.

Look at my profile... I sell them for both technologies and motorola beats LG everytime.

Out of every cell phone I sell, every other LG comes back more than all the others combined. Also, LG is Digital ONLY! Motorola will work everywhere there is a signal; analog or digital. Most reasons is because the LG doesn't work at their home. They end up coming back a week later to add a phone and they choose the Motorola because they like the design and it works.

not entirely true. LG vx6100 is tri-mode but i do agree it doesn't work everywhere there is a signal. i got more dropped calls than my motorola. it's constant switching to analog and no signal is just intolerable. i did return mine to the store and decided to wait it out. maybe the v265 would work better...

LG Rules...maybe in toon town.

I had the 9900 for about two weeks, but eventually returned it. I loved the screen and the reception was great, but a couple of things bothered me. First was the sheer bulk of the phone. On paper, it was only slightly larger than the LG VX-6100 or even the Motorola V60, but it is very rectangular and that does make a difference. It was just large enough to make its presence known in my pocket, and that bugged me. The battery life was OK, but not great. I thought the fit and finish left something to be desired, but as I look at more of the current offerings, it seems to be on par with most of the ...
