SMALL SCREEN!!!!!!!! 1
Everything else was good for the phone needs to go back to the drawing board for larger display.. there is also a v262 no camera function...sleek phone though

Are the changable faceplates made out of metal? I think someone asked that somewhere but I could not find an answer. Does the phone have a solid feel to it? I've yet to play with the phone (obvoiusly).

Solid, yes. The faceplates are not metal...I think its a soft-touch plastic. I like it.

I only used the phone for a very short time...it wasn't mine. I liked it, but the screen is the worst part...just too small. If the screen were 128x160 (like the v810) then it would be much easier to decide.

Can't wait to see one, up close and personal. So is the gut feeling that this will be out in the next few weeks? How about the timing of the v810? I think my next phone will be one of these two. Wasn't impressed enough by that new Audiovox 9900 to buy one.

I agree, I am going to wait until I can hold a V265& V810 side by side to make a choice. I also agree that the Audiovox 9900 is a piece of junk, can you say 9500 with a camera? Hope we got our FRU's!

I have the V810 and it has Verizon Logos all over it! Unless they changed there minds. I also have the V265. Nice phone! Neat power saving features, nice speaker phone, small screen(saves power), A hair bigger than the V810, but the phone looks very nice (silver and black). Feels very solid! Also the ear piece volume blows doors on the V710. Very LOUD! I have my V710 Mint condition, hs 820 bluetooth, transflash card, data cable, up for sale. Everything is still in the packaging, Also a V810, V265 for sale! All will be on Ebay, I hope 2marow. tim@reliancewindows.com

Probably by late November. Definitely in time for the Xmas holiday shopping season according to some knowledgeable posters.

Do any of the knowedgeable posters know if this phone has even been approved by Verizon yet? Seems like their testing is very strict considering we've been waiting for the V810 and only US Cellular is selling it...

From what I've read it is nearly out of the final phase of testing. But, final approval has not been given yet.
Can't speak to their testing strictness. If it was so strict we would never have seen the v710 😉
