HELP!!!! Is this really a manufacturers issue?

I read on this forum that I could record a call with the VX-6100. Well, tried it (and told my fiance I was testing out the recording feature) but it only recorded him speaking and not me talking???

We have the same phone so we ordered replacements (not because of the recording but other issues). Now we have replacement phones and the record feature STILL does not record both parties talking.

Is this a malfunction or a manufacturers issue?

I called Verizon (our carrier) and they claim it's the manufacturer - but why on earth would LG make a record feature that only records half of the conversation????????????

Help :-( 😕 😕 😕 😕 😕 😕 😕

I work for verizon wireless and sometimes those features are not cut out to be what we think that they are. What I would do is take it to your local store not a Radio Shack they are not going to be able to help you like a regular verizon store and if they deem it manufacturer defect then the manuf has to replace it. Have the store show you one that really works. 😲
