Can I buy a better antenna to improve signal?
I use this phone in a marginal signal area, and am wondering if there is a after market antenna available that might provide more gain.
I don't care if the antenna is physically large, just want better performance.

From what I have been told, the only antenna for this phone is the stock one it comes with. If you are experiencing this problem when driving, you can get an external auto antenna. PLEASE NOTE!! Do not purchase a "signal booster" which basically looks like a metalic sticker you put on your phone under the batter. This is a hoax, and will only void the warranty, and will NOT help reception on your phone.

only solution i know is try to get a phone that works great at fringe areas. get a Moto phone or a Nokia. for fringe areas, LGs suck big time.
