Has anyone actually connected to their local ISP by dialup using their 6100 and USB cable WITHOUT being charged additional fees by Verizon? I keep reading references to a $32,000 charge but it may be more legend than fact, and I keep reading about people who connect using just normal charged minutes. Any actual experience out there?

you can use #777 as the number to dial and then the user name is
(insertcell#here)@vzw3g.com
and password is
vzw

as long as you use this it will use airtime to surf the internet... that mean unlimted n/w

I know it works because I'm constantly using my v710 as a modem for my laptop and have never had an additional charge... on a side note I pay 5.00 for mobile web 2.0 but I believe its just for the web browser on the cell.. but I just thought I'd tell you since that might be why its just using minutes...just a thought I really don't know if it really matters
