Headset issue...BEEPING....
Okay, I have the 6100 for about a week now and have noticed that when I use the headset while driving, I hear frequent background beeping tones (various different high pitched noises) . If I use the phone on speakerphone or normally, it is fine, no beeping or high pitched noise at all..If anyone else has this issue, please let me know. I'm thinking of exchanging this phone while I still have the fifteen day trial. THANKS! 😲

I have returned the phone and they gave me a new one. Problem is, it is still making the beeping/high pitch noises in the background when I use the headset. Any other thoughts? I have only 2 more days to exchange this for another phone. I use the headset ALL THE TIME and the beeping in the background is really annoying...

The headset on this phone sucks. My wife and I both have this phone and after about a month our headsets didn't work anymore. It sucks because both of us use the phone while driving. If you still have a warranty or your fifteen days are up, take this phone back ASAP. Everything else works great on the phone but I need the headset. To a previous poster, its not a shortage or the headset. My wife and I have two different headsets and neither one them work. We got the beeping noise in the background and then the thing just went out. We both work at a large wireless company and other have this issue as well. As a wireless professional, I have to tell you that LG's suck. Stick with Motorola.
