missed called notification on an LG6100

Is there any way to get the phone to beep when you miss a call? From what I see you can only get an alert when you have a message and not just a missed call.

Don't you mean you can only get an audio(beep sound) for a message left on your voice mail not a missed call?

Yes, an audio beep. I referred to that as a message alert because that's what the user manual calls it.
