I assume you're comparing this one to the CX65/66?

It's important for every manufacturer and every carrier to offer a range of phones at different price points. The CX65/66 is a much higher-end phone. It has a huge display, more memory, VGA camera, video recording, etc.

This one - the C65/66 - is an entry-level phone. The point is to offer a really affordable camera phone, which is why it's only CIF resolution and a smaller display. This may replace the C61 for some carriers - this could be the first camera phone to be given away as a "free" phone on a regular basis.

Actually the offical pricing on this phone with a two year aggreement is only 69.99. So expect it free in some stores and some times on the web also. This the "anounced price through care".
