Considering that aldcon said you can make calls with it fully closed, wouldn't that be kind of against the whole point of flip/swivel phone. I just wonder if you have it your pocket if its gonna make calls if you bump it the wrong way.?.?

You would have to use the side "swivel button" to direct the phone to call a certain person. This would seem hard to do accidentally.

well...you cant just have a non-swivel phone because the keypad is on the inside... ? so being able to call people while its closed, doesn't that signify voice-activated dialing? you still need a numberpad...

i believe you can go through your menu with the phone closed...so that would allow you to go through your phone book

If you click on the link for the manual that MrBillShow provided, you will see that there is a button on the side of the phone that lets you perform functions with the swivel closed. Everyone should definitely check it out! I like the phone much better now!

sure but you'd still need to put the numbers in at some point... you can't have a phone without a numberpad at all is what im saying... someone asked about why you would even need the swivel function at all.

you def need a keypad...but once everything is loaded up...except for txt kyocera is just make it easier to use quick options so youd on't have to swivel it...smart...esp on a $200plus phone
