Hi...I currently have U.S. cellular as a carriar (i know...not the best phones in the world) but they are recieving a new shipment of phones for the holidays. These phones are the MOTOROLA V710, MOTOROLA V262, KYOCERA KOI, KYOCERA SOHO, and the NOKIA 6019i. I would really like a camera phone, and the only two camera phones are the Moto v710 (which the reviews arent great for..and its a little on the hefty size), and the Kyocera Koi. My only problems with the Kyocera are that the phone might be a little flimzy (unstable)after a few months. And that the screen is on the outside (so it might get scratched). I currently own the Kyocera Slider, it has become very flimzy...and the screen is hardly visible anymore. If you have any information ...

well if you want a camera phone there is also the V810, VX6000, or 8900. The V810 is doing very well- nice and loud, especially for a Motorola, great screen, pretty good speakerphone. It's not a megapixel camera, but still not bad. As to the Koi, I am holding my breath on that one- it should be out near the end of the month. I don't trust Kyoceras, but hopefully this one will be better since it's high-tier. So check around again in early November and see what people are saying about it!

The Kyocera Koi is a very nice phone but after toying with it for a few hours I lost my appreciation for it. The phone is fairly on the large size, just like the V710 but atleast the V710 has integrated Bluetooth & a memory card expansion slot. Also as you stated the external only screen brings on more risk of scratches. When the phone is released it should be the same blue color as the USCC Slider although I have put my 2 cents forward to get the silver edition, however we will probably not see that one though. 🙄

Both phones will most likely sell for $...

Well if you take a look at the Kyocera website, the one they show is the silver, so I am sure they will have both colors. I have also heard word that there maybe the red and black colored one as well, just like in Japan.

I work for Verizon, and have seen the V710. A few of the people I work with have it, and yes it does have bluetooth, but overall the phone is not that good. The keys wear out fairly quickly. The camera, which is supposed to be 1.2 megapixel can barely compete with the VX7000. I had wanted to get the V710 before I had seen it and got to play with it. Also, in my opinion, that bluetooth wireless headset is somewhat on the big side, and doesn't look exactly right when someone is wearing it.

As for the Koi, I don't t...
