does anyone know an approximate month for the release date for this phone? .. and will it really be available in black ... the pics ive seen so far have only been in silver ... and does anyone have a link for somewhere with more info on this phone ?

The color is probably up to the carrier. Just like the Treo 600 - Sprint chose the dark version, while everyone else chose silver.
