Not getting Voice Mail Notification on Cingular
I have the MPx220 with Cingular. When someone leaves me a voice message I do not get a notification that there is a voice message waiting. I spoke with Cingular and they ended up sending me a new phone but I still have the same problem. The phone they sent me has frimware 1.30. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions?

If you have a sound selected for a new voice mail message and you are getting the tape icon but no sound notification then I don't know what to tell you. If you are not getting the tape icon on the screen to let you know you have voicemail, then your voicemail just needs to be reset, cingular tech support would be more than happy to do this for you. You will lose any saved messages and the phone needs to be turned off so make sure you call from a landline.
