Ok all...the following is a combination of logic, knowledge, and speculation...

Ok as we all know, the V600 retail's at $349.00

check here-

Also, we know that the V710 has a couple more features than the V600 but not a whole lot more...so...Logically I believe the phone will retailat $399.00-$449.00 (more likely $399.00)

With a 2yr contract, the V600 is $199.00 after mail in rebate of $50.00. So with the V710, I believe it will, with a 2yr contract be priced at $299.00 with out the mail-in-rebate...With a 1yr contract, it would...

From reading these boards for a few months now. I guess the 299 guess is pretty good for a 2 year deal.

I think it will be 249.99 for a 2 year deal. Over hat Howard forums someone had a picture of a promotional poster from a store in CA that had the VX7000 and the V710 starting at the same price. Thats why i think it will be the same price as the 7000

The price will be what the people at Verizon Wireless think the market will bear. They will rape the early adopters, as is their way.

As such, I don't intend to pay a lot for this phone. If they value the length of my being a customer (on record as 1996, by the company they purchased) and the size of my contact ($149 per month plus an extra line) they can damn well give me a concession on the phone.

What... you don't think that Verizon marketing people are reading this site, filtering through all the idiocy and personal attacks to see what the highest they can charge might be?

Don't kid yourself. I wouldn't pay more than $100 net for the phone, including a car charger and at least a standard headset. They can charge whatever the...

They can charge whatever they want, but that's the most that's coming out of my pocket. Yes, the rates are higher, and the service may be better, and I've had the same phone for well over two years, but that's my price if they want to keep me as a customer.

well u should beable to buy a v700 in ummm the year 2007 for $100.00

well I would pay 5000 dollars for this phone...and I consider myself to be representative of a male 18-25 year old early adopter...oooops did I say that out loud. I hope the marketing guys reading this wonderful display of digital diarrhea -i mean message board, didn't see that.

I was the one who posted on here, HoFo and WirelessAdvisor. The store has the VX7000 at $89 on a 2 year contract now after the $50 indirect rebate and the $70 VZW rebate so they are selling the phone for $209 now instead of $240 like they did before. So the VX7000 is $31 lower in price than when that promotional flyer was posted.
